Our humble beginning traces back to 1996 where MMI was only principally involved in the manufacturing of plastic mould bases. At that point in time, MMI operated from a production facility with a floor space of approximately 5000 sqft at Taman Perindustrian Chandan Raya, Menglembu, Ipoh, Perak.

In 2000, our Group had diversified our business precision machining component for semiconductor industry. Due to declining demand from customers for mould bases, we had ceased manufacturing for mould makers since 2002. This allowed us to allocate our resources to the manufacturing of precision engineering parts for the semiconductor industry as we see greater interest and demand from customers in these industries.

The business thrived from strength to strength. As a result, we relocated to a bigger production facility and increase the floor space to approximately 13,000 sqft in year 2005. In order to support our growing manufacturing activities and increasing demand from customers, we constructed and relocated to another production facility which has a floor space of 32,400 sqft in Kawasan Perindustrian Batu Gajah Perdana in Pusing, Perak in year 2016.

Over the years, MMIS continued to face new challenges in a very robust business environment where the speed and scale of change are unforeseen and unprecedented. Nevertheless, MMIS managed to overcome all these barriers and break through every obstacle we encountered. As we continue to push boundaries, MMIS was listed on the LEAP Market of Bursa Securities on 6 September 2019; a testament endorsing the Group’s determination in overcoming these challenges towards transformation to full its Vision.
